Bugtracker

Opt-in

Own statuses and views, each linked to the task that fixes it. Clients can file them when you let them.

Defects with their own board, linked to the fix.

Track, triage, and let clients report, without touching your task board.

Triage on its own board

A board by bug status rather than sprint stage: New, Triaged, In Progress, Fixed, then Verified, Closed, Won't Fix and Duplicate, with severity on every card. It stays separate from tasks, because triaging a defect is a different job from planning work.

A bug is more than a title

Steps, expected versus actual, environment and severity, all structured, so nobody has to reply asking how to reproduce it. Then a link to the one task that fixes it, and closing that task closes this.

Asked in the reporter's words

Your team fills in steps to reproduce, expected result, actual result. A client filling in the same three fields is asked what they did, what they expected, what happened instead, and how much it is slowing them down, instead of being asked to pick a severity. Same record, different question.

Also included

What else comes with it.

  • Statuses customizable per project, with the eight above as the seed
  • Mark a bug as a duplicate of a canonical one, keeping both discoverable
  • Filter the triage list by severity, status, area and environment
  • Screenshots and video attached by the reporter, at report time

Availability

Opt-in, per project.

Bugtracker switches on per project in settings. Leave it off and it doesn't exist there: no tab, no placeholder, no empty screen. It's included on every plan, and turning it on never changes your bill.

Every module, on every plan.

Start with the core and switch the rest on as each project asks for them.
