Billing
Opt-inTime tracking is core on every project. Turn on Billing to attach rates and invoice from the same hours.
Invoice the hours your team already logged.
Time tracking is core on every plan. Billing adds the rates and the invoice.
Rates, per project or per member
Set a project rate, then override it for the people whose rate differs. This is the only thing Billing adds on top of the time tracking every project already has. Tracking hours is core, and free, whether you invoice them or not.
A pool of billable hours
Every billable log lands in an uninvoiced pool, tagged with the task it was logged against and who logged it. Tick what belongs on this invoice and generate it from real hours, not from a summary someone retyped.
One line per log, and no silent gaps
The invoice is a line per time log, so every figure traces back to work someone did. A draft reflows as you edit rates, and time with no rate is flagged before you can issue rather than quietly billing zero.
Send it as a PDF Soon
A branded PDF generated from the same invoice: the document you send a client, rather than a link they need an account to open. Not built yet; this is where it lands.
Also included
What else comes with it.
- Issued invoices freeze, so a sent invoice never changes underneath you
- Currency and tax handled per org
- Rates resolve per member, per project, then org default
Availability
Opt-in, per project.
Billing switches on per project in settings. Leave it off and it doesn't exist there: no tab, no placeholder, no empty screen. It's included on every plan, and turning it on never changes your bill.
Every module, on every plan.
Start with the core and switch the rest on as each project asks for them.
